The Women of Fisheries, Inc. Board is pausing the annual fisHER Adventure Classic to give back in a different way this year. Many in our Women of Fisheries community are facing unexpected financial difficulties, and we wanted to do something to help. We invite you to join our Fish Sisters Unite Campaign and show these fish sisters that they’re not alone.
ALL money raised will go directly to women in fisheries science — our “fish sisters” — in the form of individual grants of at least $50 each. After the fundraising campaign ends, a form will be shared for our members to request assistance.
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Women of Fisheries, Inc. will match all donations up to $500.

For those who love a good adventure and want to support early career professionals, the next fisHER Adventure Classic will take place in fall 2026! In the meantime, we welcome any posts from members who gather together for a social or adventure event in their area and want to share their experience with the Women of Fisheries community.
