Please join us from October 1-15 for the 2023 virtual fisHER Adventure Classic – the 4th annual fundraising effort for Women of Fisheries, Inc. Instead of the classic virtual 5K, this event incorporates all interests related to getting outside! Grab your hiking boots, kayak, paddle board, bike, swimsuit, fishing pole, etc. and have an adventure!
Proceeds for this event are used to fund the Women of Fisheries Gives Back! Early Career Award that provides financial assistance to women during the often difficult transition from student to fisheries professional. So far, we have supported 4 deserving women in 2022 and 2023.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Register for the 2023 fisHER Adventure Classic!
Get outside and have an adventure sporting your bib anytime from October 1-15, 2023.
Share your adventure with us! Share a picture, how long your adventure was (time, distance, etc.), what mode of transportation you used, and anything fun or interesting that you encountered along the way. Tag yourself (and your bib) using #fisHERAdventureClassic on social media.
Submit your adventure story to be eligible for prizes featuring #fisHERAdventureClassic swag!

- All participants will receive a bib
- Submit your adventure story to be considered for PRIZES!
- Three categories: Most Interesting Location, Best Adventure Story, Most Impressive Adventure
- Represent the fisHER Adventure Classic by purchasing official event or 5 year anniversary gear!
