Three years ago a handful of women came together to kick off the Women of Fisheries group as a space for women to connect, share stories, ask questions, learn from each other, and together tackle some of the issues facing women in our field. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant community of over 1300 and a nonprofit organization! We are seeking to grow our Board of Directors as well to reflect the many and diverse perspectives and so that our organization can speak to the experiences of all women in our field.

Board membership will consist of a voluntary 3-year commitment, and members will provide input and perspective to help guide the Women of Fisheries organization.
