Thanks to the generous funds raised through our 2024 fisHER Adventure Classic and the Board member challenges, we are thrilled to offer TWO $250 awards this year to early career professionals in the fisheries science field.  The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, January 20, 2025.

These funds can be used for a variety of career development needs, including but not limited to:  professional training, attending an upcoming conference, purchasing a professional outfit for your next interview

Whatever your career advancement needs may be, Women of Fisheries is here to support you.

To apply, please use the form below to creatively share more about yourself, your career journey, and how you plan to utilize the award to further your professional growth. As part of the award, winners will be asked to write a blog post for Women of Fisheries, Inc. in 2025.

Eligibility: This award is open to women who have graduated within the last 5 years and are currently working in the fisheries science field. Please note that students are not eligible to apply.

Sponsorship funds available: $500 ($250 for each award)
