In 2018, Women of Fisheries began in an effort to support and advance women in the fisheries science profession. We want to affirm that we include all women in our community and stand in support of our trans women colleagues. Women of Fisheries is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for ALL women.    

In honor of Pride month, we wanted to link to an article we posted last June on “Being an Ally for LGBTQ+ Colleagues”, which contains information and resources, as well as “Ally Action: Share Your Pronouns!”.
